This week, we learn the Swing and Bounce. The Swing simply means swinging your rope from side to side. Learning this basic skill allows the beginner skipper to acquire the habit of turning the rope with the wrists, instead of the entire arm. When performed correctly, the rope should be swinging by the side of your body and not the front! Elbows have to be bent instead of locked as well.
